How a job runs

One job, six states

Every hire on PROS walks the same track. The first three states are the READ FLOOR — browsable by anyone. The last three move BLiNG! and are propose-first: proposed in the UI, applied by the owner. Nothing on this floor writes money.

  1. AdA user publishes a need on the board.
  2. ContactA pro reaches out; the two connect.
  3. BidThe pro OFFERs an amount in BLiNG!.
  4. Acceptancepropose-firstThe user accepts; BLiNG! moves to ESCROW.
  5. Invoicepropose-firstThe pro issues an invoice for the finished work.
  6. Paymentpropose-firstESCROW releases; the pro is paid in BLiNG!.
Read floor

Ad, contact and bid are open browsing. A user posts a need; pros connect and OFFER. No money has moved.

Propose-first · moves BLiNG!

Acceptance holds the OFFER in ESCROW; the invoice itemizes the finished work; payment releases ESCROW to the pro. Each is proposed here and applied by the owner.
